Annual Day of Commerce students – Commerce Fiesta 2022 was inaugurated at 8.30 a.m. on 14th May 2022 by lighting traditional lamp and cutting of cake at the hands of Chief Guest Neetal Amonkar Goa Civil Service Officer, alumna MES College graduated in Commerce 1994-1995. The other dignitaries present on the dais were Principal Dr. Manasvi M Kamat, the Vice Principal Dr Ashish M Joshi, the Convener and Head Department of Commerce Dr Champa Ramkrishna Parab, Gunaji Keluskar and Ms Sneha Kekare student President and Vice President of Commerce Association. The programme began with a welcome song presented by M.COM
Part II students Prajkta Desai and group. The Vice Principal Dr. Ashish Joshi presented welcome address, Ms.Sneha Kekare introduced the Chief and the theme of Commerce Fiesta 2022 “Sustainability in Commerce: A Roadmap to New Normal” and the competitions of event were introduced by Dr. Champa R. Parab. The articles and sketches on the theme of commerce fiesta contributed by students and faculty were published in students’ magazine C-Ignite which was released at the hands of the dignitaries. The Chief Guest in her address created awareness on GPSC examinations, different posts and courses which students can register for to get into Govt. jobs. The Principal MES College presented the presidential address. The function ended with the vote of thanks by Mr. Gunaji Keluskar president of Commerce Association.
